Soft-Strip® stripping tools MS-3T-E or MS-3B-E from Micro Electronics, Inc. strip multi-fiber ribbon up to 12-fibers. These tools feature a unique specially designed multi-fiber stripping blade and ribbon aligning guide along with a mini heater oven which pre-softens the insulation and provides a quick, precise removal of up to 12-fibers per ribbon. Multi-Fiber ribbon applications include 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12-fiber ribbons with either ‘Bonded’, ‘Encapsulated’, or ‘Ribbonized’ ribbon fiber constructions. These tools are either AC adaptor powered (MS-3T-E) or ‘AA’ battery powered (MS-3B-E).
